Next weekend, Orpesa will enjoy a sports agenda full of activities. Among them, one of the most eagerly awaited events by the citizens stands out: the Oropesa CF Centenary Tournament. The Councillor for Sports, Jordi Llopis Bernabeu, has stated: “In our municipality we host a great diversity of sporting events and we always strive to promote sports tourism and boost local sports entities.” The Oropesa CF Centenary Tournament will bring together young people from Castellón, Valencia, Madrid and the Balearic Islands and will be held from 9 to 11 June. The matches of the centenary tournament will face teams from the Benjamín, Alevín, Infantil, Cadete and Juvenil competition categories and will be played from 16:00 to 20:00 on Friday 9 June, from 9:00 to 20:00 on Saturday 10 June and from 9:00 to 14:00 on Sunday 11 June. The matches will be officiated by referees from the Valencian Football Federation. A total of 65 matches in a weekend full of football and other events, such as the medal ceremony, the leaders' dinner, the presentation and the tournament party.
