As evidenced by the inscription "ANO 1590) on the lintel of its entrance door.
Property of the lords of the Villa (the Cervellón family) it was built, together with the neighboring chapel, on the occasion of the Puebla de Oropesa Charter of 1589.
A privilege used to attract settlers with whom to repopulate the Villa after the depopulation caused by pirate attacks and to increase the number of neighbors in their manor.
