The City Council wants to strengthen its commitment to more inclusive and accessible beaches

The Oropesa del Mar City Council, in its commitment to building a more inclusive municipality, has distributed different types of adapted sun loungers in the accessibility areas of the municipality's three beaches so that users who need them can use them and thus enjoy the Oropesa del Mar coast.

This material was distributed by Araceli De Moya, Mayor of Oropesa del Mar, and Isabel Moya, Councillor for Beaches.

Araceli De Moya, Mayor of the town, said: “In Oropesa del Mar we are firmly committed to ensuring that people with reduced mobility can enjoy our town and our beaches without barriers.”

Isabel Moya, for her part, said that “the magnificent beaches of Oropesa del Mar must be a space where residents and visitors can enjoy themselves without limits. We are going to continue to strengthen these accessible areas in the coming months.”

In addition to this distribution, the municipal corporation has committed to distributing an amphibious chair on each beach, a tool that helps people with reduced mobility to access the sea safely.
