Oropesa del Mar resumes its emblematic poetic journey

Next Tuesday, August 8, you will be able to enjoy this cultural project again

The municipality of Oropesa del Mar will resume its usual poetic tour today, Tuesday, August 8, at 11:00 p.m. in the Plaza de la Iglesia, a cultural proposal that allows people to recite and enjoy poetry and the streets of the town. After the celebration of its patron saint festivities and the XX International Music Festival, the town will resume one of its most emblematic summer activities.

The last day of this initiative took place on July 18, where attendees accompanied by the mayor of the municipality, Araceli de Moya, and the councilor for culture, Juan García, enjoyed a cultural itinerary that started from the Plaza de la Iglesia to explore the streets of the old town. Between stories, poems and anecdotes, attendees enjoyed a magnificent evening, with a first poem dedicated to the “Pou del Ravalet”.

The mayor of the municipality, Araceli De Moya, has encouraged participation in the next meeting of this project: “Today we will once again enjoy our streets and poetry in a unique activity. I encourage you to participate in this wonderful meeting that we organize every Tuesday in August.”
