Oropesa del Mar closes the twentieth edition of the International Music Festival (ORFIM)

Oropesa del Mar put an end last Saturday to the twentieth edition of the Oropesa del Mar International Music Festival (ORFIM). This cultural proposal has been celebrated once again with a welcome, in which lovers of classical music were able to enjoy five days of concerts with different musical proposals. 

The mayoress of the town, Araceli de Moya, wanted to thank the visitors and the citizens for their support for this cultural proposal: “Our International Music Festival has once again achieved a warm reception from the citizens. Thanks to all the people who have decided to come to know and enjoy our municipality and the music”. 

For five days the town has hosted a highly varied musical program with performances of Gospel, Rock folk, Bel Canto or Jazz, where the artists demonstrated their talent on each evening. The finishing touch to this musical encounter was last Saturday, August 5, with the turn of one of the most anticipated performances: the zarzuela. In it, the audience was delighted with some of the best-known themes of the genre. 

This irreplaceable musical event was also attended by provincial deputies such as Alejandro Clausel of the Popular Party and María de los Llanos Massó, David Muñoz  and Jesús Albiol from Vox.
