The 'Mar Flamenc' festival returns to Oropesa del Mar from September 1 to 3

The Plaza de Toros and the Plaza de la Iglesia will host the different concerts planned for this cultural proposal     

 

From September 1 to 3, the municipality of Oropesa del Mar will host a new edition of the 'Mar Flamenc' festival. This recreational proposal, promoted by the City Council and the La Mar de Flamenca Cultural Association, aims for both residents and visitors to learn about and enjoy flamenco through the performances of great artists. 

The festival will have different musical proposals that can be enjoyed in the Plaza de Toros and the Plaza de la Iglesia. The event will start on Friday, September 1 at 11:00 p.m. in the Plaza de Toros with the show 'The Song' by Kiki Morente, son of the great Enrique Morente and brother of Estrella Morente and Solea Morente, who has established himself as the great promise of new flamenco. 

During Saturday, September 2, at the same time and place as Friday, attendees will continue to enjoy the performance in style.For a dream' from Farru, grandson of the historic dancer Farruco and who has worked with international artists such as Beyoncé, Marc Anthony or Paulina Rubio. After his show, at 1:00 a.m. it will be the turn to enjoy the singing recital of Duquende, a singer with a long and commendable career who, the last time he He was in the town in 2006 with Paco de Lucía.

The finishing touch will be on Sunday by the emblematic musical duo 'Azúcar Moreno', with a musical career known to everyone. Encarna and Toñi Salazar will delight the public at 8:00 p.m. in the Plaza de Toros. 

For the performances in the Plaza de la Iglesia it will not be necessary to reserve, however, for the shows in the Plaza de Toros, where the headliners will perform, the capacity will be limited so it is recommended to book in advance through the following website : www.oropesadelmar.click. Reservations will be tickets without numbering, people will be seated according to the order of arrival. Admission to all performances will be free of charge.
