Oropesa del Mar will host Don Patricio's concert today as part of its patron saint festivities

Oropesa del Mar is experiencing the final stretch of its patron saint festivities in honor of the Virgin of Patience with an intense program until saying goodbye to this edition next Monday, October 9. Musical, bullfighting and cultural events are the town's main proposals to say goodbye to its festivities.
Among the different events that will take place today, the inauguration of the traditional medieval market stands out. In addition, as throughout the week, a wide variety of bullfighting events will take place, such as the Oropesino-style running of the bulls, declared a Festival of Provincial Tourist Interest by Iván Miró's livestock farm. and a livestock competition, with the exhibition of three cows and a bull from the prestigious livestock farms of Germán Vidal and Capota.
The mayor, Araceli De Moya, has highlighted the festive programming for the coming days. “In the final stretch of our patron saint festivities we will be able to enjoy a varied program for all audiences. Today, for example, we will be able to attend free of charge musical performances such as the performance of the Inhumans or Don Patricio,” said the mayor.
The musical proposals can be enjoyed from 8:00 p.m. in the Plaza Mayor, with a performance by Los Inhumanos. Next, one of the most anticipated events of these patron saint festivities will take place: Don Patricio's concert. The musical event will begin at 11:00 p.m. in the Multipurpose Venue, with free admission until capacity is reached. In addition, after their performance the mobile disco will take place.
