Local Police training project in Educational Centers

This initiative You will have training in both schools and the Institute.

The students of CEIP Dean Martí and CEIP La Mediterrània, from Oropesa del Mar, will host the program presented by the Local Police, taught by police officers trained for this purpose.

The objective is to act on issues of traffic education, criminal behavior, school truancy or conflict resolution issues, social and/or police issues.

This initiative seeks to convey to students the importance of the work carried out by the Local Police, with an expository, participatory, playful and active methodology. 

The training will be given at the CEIP Dean Marti,  CEIP Mediterrània and IES Torre del Rey. The three educational centers have shown their involvement in this project that will take place throughout the course.

Within road safety education, the little ones will learn the rules of the road, such as riding a bus, bicycle and scooter.

For the older ones, topics such as the consequences of drug use and also traffic rules as a scooter co-pilot will be discussed.

The mayor of the municipality, Araceli De Moya, has highlighted the importance of the project. the councilor has assured.

The councilor responsible for the Local Police, Rafael Albert: “It is important that the closeness of the Local Police be transmitted to children and young people, that they become aware of respect for the rules and are aware of the importance of their safety in all areas. .”

For her part, the Councilor for Education, Andreea Iliescu: “I appreciate the involvement of educational centers in this project, which contributes so much to the training and education of students. “It is very important to teach children and adolescents to use public roads correctly for their safety.”
