The Oropesa Museum filled its capacity in one of the most anticipated activities of the cultural agenda of the month
This Saturday, Oropesa del Mar celebrated one of the most eagerly awaited events in the cultural calendar of the month, the concert 'Love in the lyrical world'. The musical event brought together some of the great works of Zarzuela in a unique setting such as the Oropesa museum, achieving a great reception, filling the venue.
The musical event The concert featured performances by Yasmín Müller as soprano, Antonio Clavel as Spanish guitarist and Vicente Ombuena as guest tenor. During the concert they delighted the audience with great works from the Zarzuela, Spanish Song and Boleros registers such as: The General, The Marchanera, The Port Tavern, Luis Fernanda, The Wild Cat or Life is Beautiful.
The mayor of the town, Araceli De Moya, has highlighted the great reception of this event and the importance of offering a varied cultural agenda for all audiences. “The Oropesa del Mar Museum allowed us to enjoy the Zarzuela this weekend. The City Council wants to continue promoting this type of initiatives that strengthen the cultural agenda throughout the year,” the councilor explained.
For his part, the Councillor for Culture, Juan García, said: “I would like to thank all the residents of the municipality who help us hang the full capacity sign at every event organised by the Department of Culture. Through small touches we continue to create an Oropesa del Mar rich in culture and tradition.”
