Oropesa del Mar celebrates five years as the venue for the Castelló Negre festival and will be filled with intrigue, mystery and cases to solve from February 21 to March 1.
The journalist and writer Martha Robles will kick off next Wednesday, February 21 at 7:00 p.m. Robles will take us into the darkest side of great creators in history such as Simenon, Caravaggio, Anne Perry either Patricia Highsmith, among others. It will be at the CIM (c/ Cochera, 5) with free entry until capacity is reached.
The rest of the programming will be aimed at children and young people. CEIP Dean Martí and the CEIP La Mediterrània will work A comic for first-class detectives, an activity that will serve to involve Primary students, they will solve puzzles and the reading habit will be promoted.
Furthermore, the cycle Literature black for youth will arrive at IES Torre del Rey with the help of the private detective and writer, Vicente Corachán, who through his professional experience will bring the black genre closer to teenagers, will talk about the documentation process of his last job: What would you do.
It will be the fifth edition of Oropesa Negra, and the councilor for the Culture area, Juan García, has commented that “We continue working to bring a culture based on literature, art and tradition for all audiences, hoping it will be a success like in previous editions.”
For her part, the mayor, Araceli De Moya, expressed: “We continue to bet on a literary genre that has had great success in previous editions. The main objective is to instill reading in the youngest and enhance their literary abilities. “It is a good initiative that allows our neighbors to access culture in a friendly way.”
