Every week the Oropesino municipality will offer a wide cultural program for all ages through cinematographic proposals or musical events.
The Oropesa del Mar City Council, through the Department of Culture, has launched a special cultural program for the months of April and May. This initiative reinforces the roadmap set by the City Council to promote the cultural offer in the municipality, offering a wide variety of activities designed for all ages.
From film screenings to special events to celebrate Book Day, the programming created by the City Council promises to captivate the Oropesino population and visitors with cultural experiences every weekend. “Our goal is to provide a cultural offer that is both varied and accessible, ensuring that every member of our community can find something they are passionate about”said the mayor, Araceli De Moya.
For his part, the Councilor for Culture, Juan García, has declared: “a diverse agenda for all audiences, from conferences, cinema, theater, Flamenco, poetry reading, tuna with serenades to the Virgin, workshops, book presentations, endless activities that will fill the municipality with Culture until June.”
The Department of Culture has worked over the last few months to organize this series of events, which include not only films and activities related to Book Day, but also workshops, exhibitions and concerts. These activities, in addition to entertaining, seek to educate and foster a deep appreciation for the arts and literature.
Likewise, the City Council hopes that this new cultural agenda will be a tourist and citizen attraction that will boost the potential of Oropesa del Mar during the coming months.
