Bell tower
There is no exact date of its construction but there is some data that locates it in time

Built in the middle of the 19th century

The oldest surviving bell dates from 1843 and there is documentary evidence of a bell flight in 1868 on the occasion of the new regime after the fall of Queen Elizabeth.

A bell tower, attached but not integrated, was attached to the outer rear of the church building and the adjoining abbey house. Its access is only from the outside, through a square that for centuries was the town's cemetery.

In 1931 the republican council, being mayor Adolfo Segarra Llorens, agreed to fix the bell tower and provide it with a clock. The work is entrusted to the mason José Cueva Pitarch. The solution that was given to place the clock was to raise the bell tower by building a new tower body on top of the existing one. The machinery is made in France by the “Morez del Jura” brand and is also equipped with a lightning rod. The work is completed by repairing the bell tower to the ground, cementing the stone on the outside and simulating ashlars with lines.

Finally its installation is carried out on November 12, 1932 and the bell tower is inaugurated on the 27th of the same month.
