Our Lady of Mount Carmel
The festivity of the Virgen del Carmen is celebrated on July 16. She is the patron saint of the sea and year after year almost a hundred boats carry the image of the Virgen del Carmen in the traditional marine procession leaving from the Oropesa del Mar marina.
