The Oropesa del Mar City Council, through the Department of Education, has prepared the course 'Resources for emotional education' designed for families with adolescents in challenging situations that will begin next Wednesday, January 17 and will end on March 20, 2024, with a session every Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
This educational program will have ten different sessions, in which key issues for conflict resolution with adolescents will be addressed. The first meeting that will take place this week will focus on families and the identification of roles and communication patterns. with teenagers. The mayor of the municipality, Araceli De Moya, has valued the organization of this type of initiatives. “From the government team we want to provide all the necessary tools for families to help conciliation and coexistence between their members. Educational projects like this allow us to learn how we can manage the different challenges that arise on a daily basis.”, the councilor explained.
For her part, the Councilor for Education, Andrea Iliescu, stated: “I have wanted to bring a specialist in emotional education to Oropesa del Mar and Héctor Jorge Aymerich is the one to help families resolve conflicts and nurture emotional connections with their children. I believe that the family has to be a team where everyone's needs and desires are equally important.”
Some of the issues that will be put on the table will be key aspects such as addictions or demotivation. All planned sessions will be taught by Héctor Jorge Aymerich, therapist and trainer in personal growth courses. Aymerich has a long professional history in conducting courses and workshops and private consultations to help provide the necessary tools for emotional management.
