Last Friday, January 5, the municipality of Oropesa del Mar experienced the most magical night of the year with the arrival of the Three Wise Men of the East, who visited the homes of the Oropesa children. Previously in the afternoon, as part of the municipality's Christmas program, the Three Wise Men went to the Plaza Mayor to deliver their gifts to those children whose parents had delivered the letter to the town hall and also to those children from 12 vulnerable families, whose letter It had been written from the Department of Social Services.

This municipal action seeks to support families with fewer economic resources in the town. The mayor of the municipality, Araceli De Moya, has highlighted the commitment of the City Council to the residents of Oropesa del Mar. “From the government team we do not want to leave any child without their gift. For this reason, we wanted to support the vulnerable families of our municipality on a key day such as Three Kings Day.”, the councilor explained.

Two other actions have been added to this initiative: on the one hand, the one carried out thanks to the selfless donation of some anonymous contributions from the municipality of toys and school supplies to the City Council to reach some families with limited financial means, and, on the other On the other hand, thanks to the AMPA of the Dean Martí School, who wrote their letters to bring toys to all the classes of the center's students, with part of the funds from the subsidy they receive each year from the Oropesa del Mar City Council. Both the Mayor, as the councilors of Social Services and Education, Daniel Mazzina and Andrea Iliescu, respectively, publicly thank these two very supportive actions.
