The Secretary of State for Education has awarded recognition to the ten most sustainable educational centers in the educational field in Spain. Among these educational institutions is the Torre del Rey Secondary Education Institute in the municipality of Oropesa del Mar, which has developed different improvements in its facilities to demonstrate its commitment to environmental matters.
The mayor of the town, Araceli de Moya, has congratulated the work of the center's teachers and has highlighted the council's commitment to continue improving public facilities. “Congratulations to all the teachers and students of IES Torre del Rey for this recognition. From the council we are very proud to have infrastructure in Oropesa del Mar that is committed to sustainability.”
This list is made up of ten educational centers, only three from the Valencian Community, among them the Oropesina educational institution IES Torre del Rey stands out in sixth position. As a token of gratification for the work carried out, each of the ten entities will receive €7,500 from the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training.
