Archaeological excavations and architectural interventions in our castle to enhance our heritage.

Along with the architectural structures, a large quantity of ceramic material with various shapes and decorations has been recovered, highlighting the recovery of new fragments of the 14th century sculptural altarpiece, which is the most significant piece in the castle and can be visited at the Oropesa Museum. The latest intervention involved the reconstruction of the west tower, which preserves the machine gun bunker that was built inside it during the Spanish Civil War.
