The Oropesa del Mar Library celebrates a large increase in users after the opening of its new facilities
Since the inauguration of its new headquarters, the Oropesa del Mar Library has experienced an impressive increase in the number of people who have registered and obtained their user card. More than 300 people have registered in recent weeks, showing massive support from the public.
Recent statistics confirm the remarkable response of neighbors to the library. During the month of April, 2,400 people visited, which is an increase of 900 visitors compared to March and a staggering 700 more visitors than April last year.
Likewise, document loans have reached an exceptional level. Around 850 loans have been carried out during the month of April, which is an increase of 300 loans compared to March and 150 more loans than in the same month of the previous year.
Gonçal Tamborero, responsible for Culture, has expressed his satisfaction with these results and has highlighted the support and acceptance that the new facilities have received. Tamborero states: "These results clearly demonstrate the great reception our library has had since the opening of its new facilities. We are delighted to see how the community has responded so positively. Furthermore, these figures put us almost at the level reached in June 2022, which is a remarkable achievement."
