This initiative will have three sessions aimed at 4th and 5th grade students at educational centers.

The 4th and 5th grade students of CEIP Dean Martí and CEIP La Mediterrània, from Oropesa del Mar will host the program 'I am a mediator, I am a mediator', taught by M ª Dolores Haro Martínez, educator specialized in self-esteem and social skills. This initiative will have three meetings where nearly 200 children will be able to participate.

Upon completion, teachers will receive their own  chat to get tools to deal with bullying.

This initiative seeks to convey to students the importance of social skills, placing special emphasis on the ability to resolve conflicts and bullying. Mª Dolores Haro Martínez, the person in charge of providing this training, has already carried out this program at the educational center in previous years.

The proposal will also reach CEIP Mediterranea, waiting to confirm the dates on which the activity will take place. The mayor of the municipality, Araceli De Moya, has highlighted the importance of the project. “This is a very important initiative to show the little ones how they can resolve conflicts. It is an initiative that has already been held in previous years and has been a success”, the councilor has assured.

For her part, the Councilor for Education, Andreea Iliescu: “Being an advocate of emotional intelligence in the classroom, I am sure that the educator will provide students with many tools to face conflicts from a positive attitude.”
