This municipal proposal exceeded all expectations, consolidating itself as an essential recreational and musical proposal for the summer.

The municipality of Oropesa del Mar celebrated the 'Luna Pop' festival last weekend, a proposal launched by the Department of Tourism led by Rafael Albert, which featured a wide variety of musical acts on Amplàries Beach.

This fourth edition of the municipal festival exceeded all expectations, consolidating itself as an essential musical and recreational event for the summers of this Mediterranean town. More than 2,000 people attended the three concerts that made up this summer event. The mayor, Araceli de Moya, has highlighted the importance of this type of project: “At the City Hall we want to guarantee a varied recreational and tourist offer aimed at all ages, initiatives such as the 'Luna Pop' festival are an example of this.”

The festival kicked off with a tribute to Los Secretos by the Zaragoza band G-Cretos Locos, who delighted hundreds of fans of the legendary Urquijo brothers. On Saturday it was the turn of the Destrangis group from Valladolid, who offered an extraordinary tribute to Estopa to nearly a thousand totally devoted attendees.

The icing on the cake of this fun proposal was provided by the group Los Guapos from Valencia, who made the audience dance and sing with their tribute to the discopop music of the 70s, 80s and 90s, filling the Sunday night with energy, rhythm and good humour.
