The Orfim international festival will 'flood' Oropesa del Mar with music from August 2 to 6

The municipality will host the 19th edition of this event, which will be inaugurated by Nostrum Mare Camerata and which includes Yasmin Müller, from La Bella Voce, from Oropes..

The person in charge of inaugurating this international festival on August 2 will be Nostrum Mare Camerata, a formation based on string instruments and based in the city of Valencia devised by the violinist Jacobo Christensen and supported by his mentor, maestro Cristóbal Soler. The Dixielab will land in Oropesa del Mar on August 3rd to present a very special program in which she will pay homage to the women of the beginnings of jazz, whose names are lost in the history books, but who were creators and pioneers.

ANDthe 4th of august it will be the turn of the brazilian artist Thaïs Morell that will delight the public with songs from his albums 'Cancioneira' and 'Amaralina' with a repertoire that draws on works with Brazilian rhythms such as samba, bossa, baião… all fused with elements of jazz. Meanwhile he August 5 will go on stage Bamboo Ensemble, the only stable string octet on the current Spanish music scene. And as a great climax, the group the beautiful voice will close on the 6th of August, this 19th edition of Orfim with a most special performance that will feature with the collaboration of the composer Ximo Fabregat, which will set to music and interpret an outstanding poem by a renowned poet from Oropes.
