Oropesa de Mar promotes local music with the concert of the Colla de Dolçainers i Tabaleters l'Embolic

The Plaza Mallorca in Oropesa del Mar will resound this Sunday, August 20, with the music of the Municipality's Colla de Dolçainers i Tabaleters l'Embolic Cultural Association. The concert will be free for attendees and will begin at 8:00 p.m., with an approximate duration of 45 minutes.

"From the City Council and the Department of Culture we want to publicize our traditions by promoting local associations and the Colla l'Embolic is a sample of the cultural potential that we have as a municipality", indicated the mayoress, Araceli De Moya.

It will be the third function of the summer that they interpret from this association. The first coincided with the week of festivals in the municipality and was held in the Plaza Mayor. The second performance was at the beginning of August in the Plaza María Cambrils Sendra (on Les Amplàries Beach) and this Sunday it will be the turn of the Morro de Gos Beach.

This school of tabaleters and dolçainers has a wide range and its repertoire ranges from current music, through dance, parades, pasodobles or bullfighting music. In addition, during the performance, the artists explain the origin and structure of the songs to provide them with greater cultural richness.
