Oropesa del Mar has held its Dog Competition

The contest, organized by the Canine Society of Castellón, took place at the Oropesa del Mar Multipurpose Facility

Oropesa del Mar has held the 'Oropesa del Mar Dog Competition'. This is an event organized by the Castellón Canine Society in collaboration with the municipality's City Council, which gave the first prize to a Pomeranian, second place went to the Newfoundland and in third place was the French Bulldog.

This event took place at 10:00 a.m. in the Multipurpose Venue, where the contestants had the opportunity to demonstrate their potential. During the day, Arion, as sponsor of the contest, delivered several kilos of feed to the local association “La Morada Animalista”. At the end of the morning all participants were invited to share a table around a paella. 

The councilor for the area, Sonia Bellés, has insisted that this dog competition is a great opportunity to offer leisure alternatives to the population and visitors. “This proposal from the Castellón Canine Society enhances the recreational offer of our municipality. From the City Council we want to help entities like this to develop their projects in our town.”

For her part, the president of the Association, Asun Folch, has highlighted the importance of there being a lot of variation in races participating.
