Today Oropesa del Mar celebrated the opening of the art exhibition 'Light, life, rebirth' at the Oropesa Museum. This is a cultural proposal promoted by the Culture Department of the City Council, together with the collaboration of the Ana Rubio SL Art Gallery.
This exhibition captures Easter and spring on canvas, with very different artistic proposals from nine artists. The Oropesa del Mar Museum houses works of spring landscapes by Juan Borrás II with 'Spring Reborn', Raúl Segura with 'Despertar al Bosc', 3abiloni with 'Savia', Guidotti with 'Flor de mangraner'; the figure works of Jenia Maslova with 'Luz enterna', María Griñó with 'Introspección', Manu Parra with 'I am powerful, I am strength, I am light' and Bolumar with 'Arrullo azul'; and the abstractions of Elisabeth Rodrigo with 'Paihuen' or 3abiloni with 'Iris'.
The Mayor, Araceli De Moya, has encouraged the residents of the municipality as well as those who visit us these days of Holy Week to enjoy this cultural proposal. “I invite the entire population and visitors of our municipality to enjoy this magnificent art exhibition hosted by the Oropesa Museum”, the first mayor has assured. And adds: “Without a doubt, Oropesa is more alive than ever and part of this success is thanks to the art gallery owner Ana Rubio, who has been closely linked to the town of Oropesa for years and who has always collaborated with our town. "I take this opportunity to thank you on behalf of Oropesa."
For his part, the Councilor for Culture, Juan García, expressed: “From the Department of Culture we continue to support high-quality culture and we will continue to have top-level artists in the upcoming exhibitions that we are preparing for the following months.”
The exhibition can be visited at the Oropesa del Mar Museum (Plaza de la Iglesia, old town) in the mornings, from Tuesday to Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and in the afternoons, from Monday to Sunday, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. until the next 7 of April.
