Oropesa del Mar shows its potential at FITUR together with its local entities

The Casa Julen restaurant and the Oropesina Cultural Society (SOC) bring the Oropesina tradition closer on the fourth day of the International Tourism Fair 

Oropesa del Mar continues its campaign at FITUR 2024 with the presence of different local entities at this International Fair to show their tourism potential within the Valencian Community stand, with meetings, institutional events and presentations of the different tourism proposals. 

Today morning we had the participation of Jose Montero from the Casa Julen restaurant, an establishment that is a member of the Oropesa del Mar Hospitality Association and characteristic of local gastronomy,  who has made a showcooking to bring the gastronomic potential of the municipality closer to the International Tourism Fair.

While in the afternoon it was the turn of an emblematic entity for the town such as the Oropesina Culture Society (SOC). At the event, the cultural association presented this year's poster for one of its most recognized activities: 'La Trobà'.  It is a Fair held annually during the May long weekend that shows customs, traditions, crafts and artisan products with a wide variety of musical, gastronomic proposals, workshops and much more. This year the date chosen was the weekend of May 3, 4 and 5.

The Councilor for Tourism, Rafael Albert, has shown his gratitude to the associations: "I thank Casa Julen and the Hospitality Association for wanting to participate in this fair, supporting and promoting our municipality through gastronomy, as well as the SOC and l'Embolic showing the world the traditions of Oropesa del Mar."

For his part, Jose Montero from the Casa Julen restaurant, expressed: “for me it has been a very well organized event with a lot of people in attendance and I am proud to represent Oropesa in such a massive event.

“La Trobà at Fitur 2024 presents its first poster after being declared a festival of provincial tourist interest, praising the traditions and customs of Oropesa,” added the president of the SOC, Juan Carlos Aparici.
