Oropesa del Mar will offer three professional training courses from the Tourism Center

Oropesa del Mar is one of the municipalities in the province of Castellón that will offer vocational training courses for employment aimed at active personnel, discontinuous permanent employees in the tourism sector and unemployed. This is an initiative promoted from the Network of Tourism Centers, a tool of Turisme Comunitat Valenciana whose purpose is to improve the employability and efficiency of human resources, attract talent, research, innovation and promotion of gastronomy, hospitality and tourism. .

Thanks to this project, three different courses will be offered: 'Ham cutting and serving course', 'Course from floor waiter to housekeeper' and 'Individual desserts in catering course'. The mayor of the municipality, Araceli De Moya, has valued the carrying out of these trainings in the town. “Oropesa del Mar has great tourism potential. “These types of courses provide the opportunity to become professional in a key sector for our municipality.”, the councilor explained. 

Of the three courses granted to the municipality, the 'Ham cutting and serving course', February 19 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the 'Individual desserts course in catering' on April 22 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. will be managed by the Oropesa del Mar Hospitality Association. While the 'Course from floor waiter to housekeeper' from April 22 to May 25, Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. It will be managed by the town council, through the AEDL service. 

Registration for these courses is now open and can beapply electronically through the website www.cdt.gva.es. Registration deadline  for him 'Ham cutting and serving course' is February 12, while the deadline for the 'Individual desserts course in catering' is April 14 and for the 'Floor waiter to housekeeper course' is April 15 of April.
