Oropesa del Mar presents the poster for the 5th edition of the Mar Flamenc Festival

The musical event will take place from September 6 to 8 in Oropesa del Mar

The Oropesino municipality has presented today the poster for one of its most anticipated events: the Mar Flamenc Festival. This musical event will celebrate a very special edition this year from September 6 to 8, commemorating its fifth anniversary in the town. With its activities and performances, this cultural proposal has become one of the reference festivals for the world of flamenco. 

The presentation event took place in the Plenary Hall of the City Council, attended by the Mayor, Araceli De Moya; the Councilor for Youth and Festivals, David Juárez; and Silvia Carrillo, director of the organization. The Mayor has valued this festival as an initiative to attract tourism and cultural potential. “The Marc Flamenc Festival has become one of the most acclaimed events for fans of this genre. “I encourage all residents and visitors to enjoy this fifth edition.”, stated the mayor. 

This festival, since its birth, has contributed to the development of a flamenco music industry and has strengthened the territory's tourism and service sector. On this occasion, the town will celebrate a very special edition in its history with its fifth anniversary. The Fiestas councilor, David Juárez, highlighted: “This year the Mar Flamenc Festival turns five years old. We look forward to an edition full of activities and great artists from the flamenco music scene.”
