Oropesa del Mar lives a summer with a great variety of theatrical proposals

The next meeting will be on Sunday, August 20 at 8:00 p.m. in the Plaza Mayor with the turn of the work 'Circus without a tent'

The municipality of Oropesa del Mar, through the Department of Culture, has once again become  in a showcase for the theater during the summer season. Every Wednesday in the Plaza de la Iglesia and Sunday in the Plaza Mayor during the summer months, citizens and visitors can enjoy different theatrical proposals for all ages. 

The mayoress of the municipality, Araceli de Moya, has valued the cultural wealth of the town and has encouraged to attend the next show: "Oropesa del Mar is a municipality with a wide cultural offer that offers varied activities and for all ages. I encourage the population to attend the Plaza Mayor this Sunday to enjoy the theater and our heritage”. 

The next cultural event will be next Sunday, August 20 at 8:00 p.m. in the Plaza Mayor with the performance of the play 'Circo sin carpa'.  ANDhis play is directed by Laura Tejero and will feature performances by Eduardo Lostal, Pablo Regalado, Cristina Díaz. In it, viewers will be able to enjoy un trip to the circus, to its essence, a cabaret of artists who show their numbers as the clowns, jugglers, aerialists, the master of ceremonies did under the sinews of the old traveling circuses... Acrobatics, risk, delicacy, tenderness, innocence, laughter... A show that evokes the circus we know but, this time, outside the tent.  

A presenter will try to guide us through the club, neck or trapeze numbers despite the tender clumsiness of his companions and the unforeseen events that happen, in a show for all audiences, young and old, who come together to enjoy the most difficult still. The Councilor for Culture, Juan García, thanked the citizens for the great reception of these cultural proposals: “The population has completely invested in the cultural programming of our municipality. Oropesa del Mar has a lot to offer different audiences”.
