Prizes of the IX Orpesa Poble Antic Photographic Contest

Last Friday, September 24, the decision of the jury of the IX Orpesa Poble Antic Photographic Contest organized by the Department of Culture of the Oropesa del Mar City Council took place. The jury was made up of personalities related to the world of photography, as well as members of the Oropesina Society of Culture.

In this edition, a total of 215 photographs have been presented. In this edition, the originality of the photographs has been especially highlighted, as well as the snapshots that represent the idiosyncrasies of the old part of the town. Authors from all over the national territory have been presented.

After the jury vote , the prizes were awarded to

• 1st PRIZE "FLASH" by the author Sonia Rubert Martínez
• 2nd PRIZE “CAMINO AL CASTILLO” by the author Gorka Zulueta Riego
• 3rd PRIZE "UNTITLED" by the author Daniel Ciruela

The prizes, with an endowment of €500, €300 and €150, were communicated to the awarded authors by the Councilor for Culture, Gonçal Tamborero, once the decision was finalized.

The 20 finalist and award-winning photographs will be exhibited from September 28 to December 9 at the Museu d'Orpesa Plaza de la Iglesia, 6 (Old Town)
