VII NATIONAL ROMANTIC NOVEL FAIR of ORPESA

La Concha beach in Oropesa del Mar will receive a new edition of the National Romantic Novel Fair. The space set up in front of the sea will be the perfect setting for this date with books, the romantic genre and culture.

More than forty authors will meet, from June 23 to 25, in this event organized by the Department of Culture of Oropesa del Mar.
The main publishing labels, such as Planeta, Penguin Random House, Versatil, Harlequin or Urano, among others, will also meet at this meeting in which they will show some of the romantic novelties that have recently arrived in bookstores and libraries.
The program of this new edition of the National Romantic Novel Fair will include presentations of the latest novelties in the genre, book signings, an express writing contest, round tables, participation of reading clubs, raffles for gifts, a showspace at the foot of beach and some surprises. Topics such as the Artificial Intelligence revolution in literary creation, toxic relationships (“the bad will”), LGTBI romantic literature, the documentation process in the historical novel, the Bridgerton phenomenon and other screen adaptations, etc. will be discussed. . 
The Councilor for Culture, Gonçal Tamborero, explained that "Oropesa del Mar will receive the best national writers in one of the most read genres in Spain and the world for three days." For her part, the director of the contest, Patricia Artero, commented that “this event is intended to turn Oropesa del Mar into a meeting point for writers, publishers and readers. For three days Playa de la Concha will be the epicenter of the culture of the romantic genre”.
