The Torre del Rey has hosted during the months of January and February 2022 the exhibition entitled Berlanga, the genius that Oropesa chose, a journey through the life of the Spanish filmmaker through images, texts and witnesses from neighbors who had the opportunity to meet him. Visitors will be able to find, in addition to information on his most outstanding successes and his most iconic films, different panels dedicated to remembering the stays in Oropesa del Mar of the director and screenwriter. And it is necessary to remember that Berlanga spent the summer in the municipality for many years and came to acquire a property in it.
