Puppets to the Sea
The Oropesa del Mar Town Council, through its Department of Tourism, yesterday welcomed the 21st edition of the international festival 'Títeres a la Mar', one of the most iconic summer events in the municipality, which takes place from 18 to 23 July.
The youngest members of the municipality thoroughly enjoyed the play “Historia de Reyes” (History of Kings), which the Cuban company La Mar Esperanza performed in Plaza María Cambrils Sendra before a grateful audience that included the mayor, Araceli de Moya, and the councillor for Tourism, Rafael Albert.
Today, Oropesa families have a new date with puppet theatre. It will be at 10:00 p.m. on La Concha Beach, where they will be able to enjoy “Puss in Boots”.
